One dark, clear night at the Barleypop Live open mic (RIP), an up-and-coming Madison comic named Andrew Rynning took the stage to deliver some new material. Little did he know that Katie Ricks, the door girl from Cheshire Cat Comedy, had arrived, hangry and ornery. As he looked down at his notebook, he asked no one in particular, “What other jokes do I have for you tonight?” “How about your entire life?" rang out from the back of the room to a wave of laughter as Katie sauntered away. At that moment, Andrew vowed to get revenge on Katie, even if it takes the rest of his life. In an unlikely twist, that revenge took the form of a shared baseball fandom, weekly Costco runs, and two and a half years of making each other laugh. For their next act, Andrew and Katie will be committing their lives to one another, and they’re excited to invite you to share in that celebration.
