FAQs

Question

Where is the wedding?

Answer

Ceremony and reception are both at Primrose Cottage in Roswell, GA. Address: 674 Mimosa Blvd, Roswell, GA 30075

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adults-only event with the exception of our flower girls. We encourage you to use this evening or trip as a date night! Thank you for your understanding.

Question

When should I RSVP for the wedding by?

Answer

Please RSVP here on our wedding website on the RSVP page by August 31st, 2024.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. If you want to match beautifully with the romantic, garden-feel of the venue, we encourage formal garden party attire as well. We kindly request that ladies refrain from wearing medium to dark shades of blue to avoid matching the wedding party. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please do not arrive earlier than 4 p.m. Please be seated by 4:30 p.m.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

On the day of the wedding, parking will be available at the church next door, First Baptist Church Roswell. Please do not park on Primrose Cottage property. First Baptist Church Roswell: 710 Mimosa Blvd, Roswell, GA 30075

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, it will appear under your name when you RSVP. Please check 'Attending' for your guest if you are bringing one or please check 'Will Not Attend' if you are not bringing a guest.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We do have a registry! Please visit the Registry page to view our Amazon registry. Alternatively, we are more than happy to accept contributions to our newlywed fund through Venmo (@svia96) or Zelle (678-733-2078). In Malay-Chinese culture, it is common to gift envelopes of cash or give cash in red packets called hong baos to the couple during the wedding. Red is the symbol of energy, happiness, and good luck. Giving hong baos is a tradition to send good wishes and luck to a couple's marriage and journey. There will be a card box at the venue for any envelopes or hong baos. You may also hand it to the maid of honor/bride's sister, Chloe, if you wish.

Question

Can I bring my own adult beverages?

Answer

We will be supplying alcohol and have a bartending service who will be handling the beverages. Due to venue policy and regulations, you are not allowed to bring any other alcoholic beverages on the premise.

Question

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

We do not have any reserved blocks of rooms at any hotels. The following hotels are 20 minutes or less from the venue: DoubleTree by Hilton Atlanta/Roswell, Home2 Suites by Hilton Roswell, Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta/Alpharetta, Hotel at Avalon, Hilton Alpharetta Atlanta, and plenty more. We recommend doing a Google search as there are so many choices!

Question

Where is the ceremony and reception taking place at the venue?

Answer

The ceremony, weather permitting, will be outside on the front lawn of the venue. The reception will be indoors.

Question

I am coming from out of town, what is Georgia weather like at the time of your wedding?

Answer

Early October in Georgia is still pretty warm during the day and will cool down at night. Georgia weather is also unpredictable with temperatures. We recommend you bring a light layer with you just in case and keep checking your weather app closer to the wedding!

Question

Unplugged Ceremony

Answer

During the ceremony, we would like to request our guests put their personal devices away and refrain from taking photos or videos. We have hired wonderfully talented photographer and videographer to capture the beautiful moments for us and would love to keep those phones out of the photos. With your cooperation, we hope to have some beautiful photos to look back on. Phones may be used after the ceremony is over and cocktail hour has begun!
