Flight
The airport is a little outside the city. You can get an Uber/Lyft to downtown Pittsburgh for around $45-55, or you can take the city bus to bring you in (Bus 28X). Bus cards (ConnectCard) can be bought on the airport at Baggage claim, next to door #6. It is also possible to pay when you get on the bus, but please be aware that in that case you will need to pay $2.75 in exact cash.
Hotel
For our out of town guests, we blocked off hotel rooms for reservation at the EVEN Hotel Downtown Pittsburgh, which is a 15-minute walk or a 5-minute Uber/Lyft/car ride away from the Energy Innovation Center. Rooms at the EVEN Hotel for the weekend of our wedding can be booked at a discounted rate until 3/22/2022 by following the link below. Of course you are also free to book a hotel room at one of the many other hotels in the city if you prefer to do so. Self parking at the EVEN Hotel is available at the Forbes Parking Garage (400 Cherry Way) adjacent to the hotel for a daily rate of $25. It is not necessary to make a reservation for the parking garage, but you will need to take the ticket that you receive upon entry into the garage to the check-in desk at the hotel. At check-in, they will send a QR code to your phone that will give you in-and-out privileges for the duration of your stay ($25/night, charged to the card on file with the hotel).
