Rick and Lisa met in Washington D.C. about 10 years ago. Friends from across the country, visiting only a couple times a year. In May, 2017 Rick asked Lisa on an official FIRST date .. .. but how would a California girl and a D.C. boy make that sort of relationship work? Lisa flew out for that first date over the 4th of July holiday weekend. The silly jokes and laughter over the years had turned a friendship into love. A long distance relationship soon turned to "O.K., are you moving here or am I moving there?" and 6 months later, Rick left Washington D.C. to move out to California. He proposed on a beautifully windy September Saturday in 2019 and we could not be happier to celebrate the next chapter with you on our wedding day. Cheers!
