We met on Tinder in 2022 and instantly connected, talking for days like we had already known each other. Ricky kept asking Daisy to hang out, and we made plans a few times—but each time the day came, nerves would take over and the plans would fall through. (We laugh about it now!) But the fourth time was the charm, and when we finally met, everything just felt easy. We sat outside talking for hours, completely losing track of time, and from that night on, we knew there was something special about us. That summer, Daisy moved from Arizona to California for a summer break, and even with the distance, we only grew closer. Ricky would make the drive to visit every few weeks, send her favorite Starbucks drinks, and surprise her with flowers—finding little ways to stay connected no matter the miles. One of our favorite memories from that time was in Santa Monica. We rode the Ferris wheel together, and at the very top, Ricky asked Daisy to be his girlfriend. She said yes, and that moment became one of the many that shaped our story. From there, life just kept bringing us closer. We grew alongside each other while I was in college and Ricky dove into his career—supporting one another through long days, big goals, and everything in between. From Daisy's sophomore year to graduation, we built a foundation rooted in love, patience, and friendship. After Daisy graduated, we took the next big step and moved in together, continuing to grow our life as a team. In December 2025, we moved into our first home together—a dream we had talked about and worked toward—and on New Year’s Eve, we welcomed our puppy, Lyla, into our little family. She made our home feel even more complete. Then came February 20th, a day we will never forget. Ricky had been planning the proposal for a long time, making sure every detail was meaningful. With a housewarming party already planned for the next day, our closest friends and family were in town—which made it even more special. That day, we had a couple's photoshoot for our new home. Afterward, Ricky went back home ahead of Daisy, while she ran a few errands with her mom. When she arrived home, everything seemed quiet—but as she stepped into the backyard, she was met with all of our favorite people, gathered together. The space was filled with roses, lights, and so much love. Ricky was standing there with “Marry Me” signs, and as he got down on one knee, it was one of the most beautiful, emotional moments of our lives. Of course, she said yes. We celebrated that night surrounded by the people who mean the most to us, and it was truly unforgettable—the perfect start to this next chapter. Through it all, we’ve balanced each other in the best ways. Ricky has shown us how to stay calm, grounded, determined, and to love deeply. Daisy has brought joy, spontaneity, kindness, and a reminder to live fully in every moment. Together, we’ve created a love that feels steady, fun, and full of life. And now, here we are—so excited for forever and everything still to come.
