More than 20 years ago on a brisk Winter night, Rick received and invite from his friends to go out after Christmas Eve dinner. Knowing Rick, he could not miss the opportunity to spend time with friends and celebrate the holiday. He actually invited another girl to join him as he hung out with his friends at Penn's Landing River Rink. Rick and the girl decided to do a little ice skating as his friends watched and joked around. At that same time, Cindy was at the same event trying to convince her friends to head back home. Cindy friend's decided to stay longer and tried to convince Cindy into staying longer. At that moment, Rick happened to walk by to return his ice skates when one of Cindy's friends recognized him. Her friend introduced Rick to Cindy from a far distance and Cindy just ignored him. The friend joked that Rick caught Cindy's eye but with no intention to hook them up. They both parted ways that night with their group of friends and Rick received a phone call from Cindy friend telling him that Cindy was curious if Rick was single. To be continued.....

7 years had past since Rick and Cindy 1st met. They tried to have a relationship many times before this but things never panned out. In fact, they actually started to dislike one another and moved on from the time they first dated. It was not until Rick was forced by his parents to drive his sister to her their friends house to pick up some belongings she left. Cindy happened to be the neighbor of the friend and was sitting outside of the house with her sister Channy. Cindy quickly recognized Rick and ran into the house to hide from him. Rick spotted Cindy and walked over to convince Cindy to come out. As fate had it, Cindy decided to come out to speak to Rick and as they were making amends, spills her drink on his brand new white tee and air forces. Cindy felt bad so she agreed to go for a ride with Rick to Penn Treaty park. After a long conversation and catching up, Rick decided to officially as Cindy out on a date the following weekend to the Car Show. The date went well and Cindy swept Rick off his feet.
