Sitges has loads of independent shops selling clothes, jewellery, gifts, shoes and art. Unlike Barcelona - which has a Zara everywhere you turn - Sitges shopping streets are very quaint and varied. They are best explored in the early evening - because Sitges has quite a long siesta time during which many shops are shut from 2pm - 5pm. Carrer Major and Carrer Parellades are where most of the shops are.
