What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

3:30 - 3:50pm to comfortably find a seat. The ceremony starts promptly at 4pm.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! At 3:30pm, shuttle buses will leave Hotel Indigo and Best Western (hotels listed on the Travel page) to go to the Wedding. At 10:00pm sharp, shuttle buses will leave the Secret Garden for the After Party at Jimmy O's in Del Mar. If you choose not to join the After Party, the shuttle buses will bring guests to Hotel Indigo and Best Western hotels immediately after the Jimmy O's drop off. There will be no transportation from the After Party. Please plan to Uber/Lyft or drive responsibly.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Plenty of parking at Secret Garden. You can leave your car overnight until 12 noon the next day (Sunday, 5/24).

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Only kids of the immediate family are welcome. If your kids aren't on your invite, it's parents' night out!

Why are you getting married in San Diego?

Answer

We live here! We fell in love in Jackson WY, but it's here at home in San Diego where our lives together have blossomed. Richard has called San Diego home since 2021, and Rachel moved to San Diego for Richard in 2024. We both still travel a lot for work and pleasure, and for our special day we wanted to be at home :) we're honored you're traveling to spend it with us!
