Annie called Taylor and invited her to look at apartments together since Annie was in the market for one. Little did Taylor know, Annie had already rented an apartment, furnished, and decorated it. Taylor arrived, and Annie walked her into the new apartment. Taylor was extremely surprised (and impressed) when she opened the door!! Annie had set up the kitchen table with a photo of the two of them where the picture frame read, “Home is where our story begins.” While Taylor was unsuspectingly gazing at the photo, Annie got down on one knee behind her. 💍When Taylor turned around, she gasped and knew what was about to happen. Annie asked if Taylor would marry her. Of course, overcome with joy and excitement Taylor said “yes”. Later that day, they celebrated at the Firefighter's Ball! ❤️👩‍🚒

Annie and Taylor were both in college, so they decided to wait until the semester was over with to go on a date. After, their last final which was statistics class, Annie took Taylor to a Japanese steakhouse. ⠀ Then after dinner, they left to shoot guns at Annie’s dad’s house in Norvell. Taylor had never shot a gun before, so she was super nervous. Annie and Taylor arrived at Annie’s dad’s and then went inside briefly to retrieve the guns. Annie’s dad invited himself and his girlfriend on their date. 🤷‍♀️ It turned out to be hilarious and a treasured memory. ⠀ Later, they went to Annie’s mom’s house and watched a movie. It was perfect in every way, and they’re so glad they found each other. 💛

Annie and Taylor were in the same statistics class at Jackson College back in 2017. They got to know each other over the course of the semester and talked to their respective friends about each other, but they didn’t say much else to each other besides talking about the class. When the final project was assigned, their study group all went to meet up together to work on it at a Panera Bread. The other two girls who were supposed to meet up with them didn’t end up coming, so it was just Annie and Taylor. They were both newly out of long-term relationships and were not exactly looking to date. However, Taylor was uncharacteristically bold and decided to ask Annie, “What’s your sexuality?” Annie replied, “Oh, I’m 100% gay.” Taylor was extremely giddy, but she kept her cool. They finished their project at Panera. Shortly after they left, Annie texted Taylor. ❤️
