Will there be parking at the Venue?

There is valet parking at the Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island.

Is there transportation to the wedding?

Answer

Shuttle transportation will be provided on Friday & Saturday for guest that are staying at the Omni Amelia Island Resort property, including the Villas of Amelia Island. If you are not staying at the Ritz-Carlton or the Omni Resort property, please note that Ubers are not very reliable at night on Amelia Island. The Ritz-Carlton can help secure a local taxi at night if needed.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather at the end of November will be milder with historical averages between 71 and 54 degrees Fahrenheit. We recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl for the evenings. On Friday, the Welcome Party will primarily be indoors with access to a heated patio. On Saturday, the Ceremony and Cocktail Hour will be outdoors, but the Reception will be indoors. There will be some heaters during cocktail hour.

What is the dress code for Friday night?

Dressy Casual Women: Dresses, Skirts or pants with dressy tops Men: Slacks, button-down or polo shirts, and an optional sport coat.

Black Tie Optional Women: Evening gowns, cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits Men: Tuxedos, suits with ties

Answer

For the Friday event, children are welcomed. There will be kid friendly food. Saturday is an adults only event. The Ritz-Carlton has recommended the following independent child care provider agencies.
