Thanks to our dear friends, Charlotte and Gus, we met during a fateful cornhole game at Gus's 30th birthday party in August of 2019. Since this particular game will go down as the turning point in both our lives, it's important to set the record straight: it was Rachel and Charlotte vs Adam and his friend Andy, and in dramatic fashion, Team Rachel's superior aim and better trash-talking got the best of Team Adam who retired to the losers corner. Not ones to let wins and losses ruin a good time, Rachel & Adam proceeded to hit it off the rest of the party. During the screening of "The Thing," Rachel and Adam were seat buddies, whispering commentary and sharing popcorn. As the hosts will tell you, we were the most perfect guests and offered to lend a hand cleaning up. We can admit now it was probably a little less about being helpful, and a little more about finding any excuse to not leave each other's sides. Unbeknownst to us at the time, our competitive banter, easy conversation, and shameless flirting (on Rachel's part obviously) would lead to a happily ever after.

We are looking forward to being surrounded by our family & friends on our big day! Our ceremony and reception will both be at Salvage One in Chicago, IL. The ceremony will start at 6pm, followed by a cocktail hour to get the party started, and then reception to round us out. We may be sneaking in an after-party...but you'll have to come to find out! We hope you're all as excited as we are to have 2 weekend days to recover from the main event!
