You should arrive in Aruba at least on October 16th. The Wedding will be on October 17th. This is your vacation too. Feel free to come early, and stay after the wedding as long as you wish. Richie and I will be arriving on Sunday the 13th and staying till Monday the 21st
This is an all-inclusive resort - all food and drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic are included. They also provide beach towels. You should bring: Lightweight clothing (it get's hot), at least 2 swim suits, visor/hat/sunglasses, flipflops/sandals, water shoes as the sand does have little bits of coral in it, and SUNSCREEN - you are basically on the equator! Small bills to tip the bartender, room steward, and shuttle drivers.
On the beach, please wear appropriate footwear. Flip flops or sandals are fine - you may even choose to take shoes off and squish your toes in the sand!
Men: Short sleeve button down shirt/dress shorts/sandals Examples - Hawaiian shirts, linen shirt, something lightweight Women: sundress, dress tank or blouse, dress shorts or capris, sandals
It is hot! This will be an evening ceremony so it won't be in the blazing sun. The evening temps are still around 85 degrees with a nice breeze.
As much as we love our little family members, our wedding is a small intimate ceremony and we wish to have adults only.
Did I mention this was an all-inclusive resort? Please feel free to make friends with all the bartenders and they may even give you an extra shot! They love to see those Washington's and Lincoln's slide across the bar.
