In March 2019, Bell was in her junior year of college while Richie was just starting his job as a mechanical engineer at Northrop Grumman. They met at a climbing gym in Arcadia, CA where they were climbing buddies. Bell introduced Richie to outdoor climbing, as well as her home gym, while sharing the gospel with him. Their relationship slowly turned into a deep friendship as he helped paint Bell's parents home during the summer, took her to the ER when she pushed her hand through a window, and drove around Santa Barbara reminiscing about the past.

Fast forward to 2020, Richie had received the Gospel. They had been dating for a few months when the pandemic hit. While the world was upside down, Bell finished her last year of school from home with Richie by her side working from home. They spent almost every day after work at the beach free diving for shells in Manhattan Beach.

In July 2021, Richie proposed to Bell at Rincon Beach (their favorite beach) in Santa Barbara. He used the engagement stone from her grandmother in the most beautiful vintage inspired setting.

In January, they were able to buy a home in Gardena, CA! Just big enough for their family of three cats, one dog, and two humans.

On February 26th, 2022 Richie and Bell got married in Highland Park, CA at the Fig House. Despite the pandemic, they found a way to have a small celebration with a few friends and family. Together they are now looking forward to being able to celebrate with everyone! This July, we invite you to come celebrate their marriage with friends and family. They have felt very loved by their community, and are so thankful for each of your support in their relationship. Thank you for taking the time to come celebrate with us!!!
