Shuttle Schedule

Answer

The wedding will begin at 5:00 pm at the California Yacht Club. The following times are when the shuttle will be leaving each hotel. The shuttle will be leaving promptly at these times, so get there early or you’ll be left behind. 4:30 PM — All guests at Jamaica Bay Inn 4:35 PM — All guests at Marina City Club Towers 4:40 PM — All guests at Marina Del Rey Hotel 4:50 PM — Drop off guests at the California Yacht Club 5:00 PM — The Wedding! 9:00 PM — First shuttle back to hotels, looping as needed 11:00 PM — Wedding ends, shuttles back to the hotels, looping as needed 11:30 PM — Shuttle service ends

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a parking lot for guests at the California Yacht Club. You can also UBER or LYFT to the event.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes - Black Tie Optional, and we really do want to encourage you to dress up and wear something you always deem too fancy or too much! Also it might get a little chilly at the venue, so a sweater or a jacket is recommended (men will likely be fine in their suit/tux jackets).

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

Yes, the wedding will be outside. The ceremony will take place on a grass lawn, so please note this when picking shoes for the evening. The reception will also be outside on the grass lawn, but there will be a wood dance floor provided for dancing!

What Are You Doing About COVID?

Answer

Good question! We understand that with the latest variants, numbers are increasing and we want everyone to feel as safe as possible. Luckily, our entire wedding (both the ceremony and the reception) will be completely outside with the greatest ventilation system known to humankind — fresh air! All guests are also required to be fully vaccinated with proof of vaccination. But if you're not feeling well the day of the festivities, we ask that you please stay at home. We can't wait to see you soon!
