We’re getting married!

I had switched schools from Davies’s County High to Heritage Park. I was walking in the gym with a friend and I had pointed Brayden out of a group of 10 guys. Yes, crazy I know, I pointed out the country boy with the gigantic poofy hair. But I told my friend in that moment I was going to be his girlfriend one day, who would have thought i’d be his wife?

Brayden and I decided to take a weekend getaway for a late anniversary gift to each other. After the overwhelming drive, we arrived in Gatlinburg to go to Anakeesta. I was absolutely nervous due to the only ways up were a janky bus and sky lifts (i’m terrified of heights). Brayden and I got on our lift and I was beyond petrified. I had a death grip on my bag and I barely had my eyes open the whole way up. He decided to say in a joking tone, “What would you do if I pulled out a ring right now?” , I continuously asked him if he was joking as he just kept laughing at me everytime I said it. He finally pulled my ring out of his hoodie pocket and he didn’t say a word. I bawled my eyes out. After he put the ring on my finger we realized he didn’t even ask me to marry him, and I didn’t even say yes!
