It’s time to lace up your hiking boots, we’re going on a redwood adventure! Join us for a morning hike through the breathtaking forest at Trillium Falls Trail. This scenic 2.6-mile moderate loop winds through towering redwoods, lush greenery, and a series of small waterfalls. The hike typically takes about 1.5–2 hours, giving everyone plenty of time to enjoy the views, take photos, and soak in the magic of Humboldt’s forests. Caravan Departure: 10:00 AM from Cafe Brio If you are not meeting us at breakfast, please arrive to trailhead by 10:45 AM Hike Start Time 11am Bring comfortable hiking shoes, water, sunblock and your sense of adventure!

For those looking to relax before the festivities, enjoy a peaceful afternoon at Humboldt Bay Social Club. Guests are welcome to unwind by the bay, enjoy the cozy lounge areas, or book a massage through the Social Club’s wellness offerings. Whether you want to recharge after traveling or simply soak in the beautiful coastal views, it’s the perfect way to ease into the wedding weekend. Optional Activity Massage appointments can be booked directly with Humboldt Bay Social Club.

If you're still feeling social after the day's adventures, join us for an optional dinner and drinks at Larrupin' Cafe. Tucked among the redwoods just outside Arcata, Larrupin’ is a local favorite known for its cozy atmosphere, great cocktails, and delicious food (with gluten-free options available). Come by, grab a drink, and enjoy a relaxed evening with friends and family before the wedding festivities begin.
