This is Richelle's favorite place to get coffee and their food is to die for. Definitely try one of their sourdough donuts, they make them to order!
This is an awesome thrift store to wander around for an afternoon, they have some really funky stuff at a very reasonable price.
This is the first place Sam took Richelle the first time she visited Mystic and it remains one of our favorite hikes! Its a bit of an uphill walk but really rewarding views of the water at the end Be prepared to pay for parking if you don't have Groton Township plates
For those of you staying in New London - this brewery is really fun, has great pizza, and many colorful poisonous frogs to look at
Really cute local bookstore
Sam used to work at the snack bar here! It was not a very fun job. Nice aquarium though!
The workers pretend like they're from the 1700s and you get to see sailboats.
This is the roughly 0.5-mile stretch of town that Mystic is famous for. See the drawbridge go up and down, wander in and out of vaguely nautical-themed shops, take a picture under the Mystic Pizza sign (although the movie wasn't actually filmed there). Parking is very difficult.
A less chaotic place to walk around and do some shopping. Huge, free parking lot, lots of nice restaurants, and even a duck pond!
Interesting for history buffs and for people who enjoy walking!
