Jeff and Richelle met back in 2010 on the grounds of Carson High. They practically had every class together and sat next to one another in Spanish class and English class. Jeff would copy Richelle’s Spanish homework, while Richelle would text Jeff asking “What’s the homework?” for Biology even though she already knew the answer. Coming from the same friend group and being around each other all the time, their feelings for one another grew, yet stayed unspoken until their Sophomore year. Richelle and Jeffrey would share earphones together during Biology study hall and one thing led to another with Jeffrey finally confessing his feelings for Richelle through a text message and just like that, the rest is history. Years later, they’re still each other’s favorite person to laugh with and spend every day with — and they can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter of their story with the people they love.

Jeff proposed to Richelle at Heisler Park in Laguna Beach, overlooking the ocean and surrounded by their immediate family. It was an intimate and unforgettable moment — and Richelle said yes!

Jeff and Richelle tied the knot a couple days after the proposal. After 12 years of dating, they finally decided to go to the beautiful coastal town of Santa Barbara to be wedded in a small, intimate ceremony with just their immediate family at the Santa Barbara Courthouse. Their decision to elope was made by the two since they always knew that their plan was to be married. This elopement represents their definite and everlasting love for one another. Although their day was filled with the magic of their love for one another, their joy is incomplete without sharing it with all of their family and friends -- which is where you all come in. We look forward to celebrating on 6/19/26.
