The Cartwright’s and Coates’ have known each other for 20+ years. Growing up together and having that history only makes you closer. Robb and myself have always been close, and yes story goes we had a summer fling when we were younger but life led us in different directions.... we both had our share of relationships but nothing compared to each other. One night over at Chris and Stef’s house we went out to the bar.... playing pool and a little intoxicated my brother said one small line that changed things and led us here today. He said, “you know shell Robb’s still single.” So at that moment I texted Robb. He was out of town working, but that night he stayed up texting me until 4:30am; when he said well looks like I have to get ready for work! I felt so bad, I kept him up all night and then that day he worked 12 hours. When Robb got back in town we had our first unofficial date October 27, 2015. He cooked me an amazing dinner, we played cribbage and watched Trailer Park Boys. It was perfect. Our relationship was moving fast... so fast that we had the “let’s slow down” talk. That next week in February I moved in ha ha! We had the perfect relationship going, one night we were headed over to Leah’s house for dinner and a fire. Well earlier that day I felt off, so I took a pregnancy test, and you guessed it I was pregnant! Robb was working outside in our driveway when I found out. I must of walked outside to tell him over 6 times in an hour... didn’t know how to tell him. So I came up with the idea of taking a picture and putting on my computers background. When Robb came in I asked him to look at my computer something was acting funny... first words out of his mouth “is that our bathroom counter?” Ha ha why yes it was and the positive test. We both were beyond excited!

The months went by having our last nights alone as a family of two, we never saw it as a bad thing knowing we would give up date nights and staying up late. It was the next chapter we were waiting for. Rylee was born at the end of January after a not the easiest pregnancy. We got the all clear from my doctor to try and have another when we were ready. Robb and I were so excited experiencing everything as first time parents that why not have another one right away. Well March came around and we found out we were pregnant with Reagan! I left my job and became a stay at home mom that July! It never sunk in that we were about to have two kids under 1 until I was 33weeks pregnant spending our first family thanksgiving in the hospital while they were trying to keep Reagan cooking! That August Robb asked me to marry him, and life was still fast pace and never a dual moment! After Reagan was born in December our little family of 4 is doing amazing❤️ it’s not easy but it’s an adventure!!!
