Ours is a story that started with two hairdressers who’ve known us since we were kids—and a pair of moms who were all too happy to help play matchmaker. Megan and Scott were set up on what we like to call a semi-blind date: Megan got to see a picture of Scott, but Scott had to go in totally blind (though, for the record, one was sent. Megan's photo got lost in all the text chains). On 11-11-2023, we met up at Monk & Mongoose for a casual coffee… and ended up talking for six hours straight. We were having such a good time we didn’t even realize we’d closed the place down. Neither of us could have guessed that a simple coffee date would turn into the start of forever.
