Am I invited to the rehearsal dinner?

When you RSVP via the website, it will navigate you through the events that will be taking place that you are invited to.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Pretty Place Chapel provides a stunning and intimate backdrop for our wedding day. We encourage guests to dress in dressy or semi-formal attire and kindly ask that jeans be left at home. Please keep in mind the chapel is outdoors, so layers or wraps are recommended for potential chilly November weather.

Answer

Average highs: ~59–63°F (15–17°C) Average lows: ~35–46°F (2–8°C) — especially chilly in the mornings and evenings at the higher elevation near the chapel.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

3:30–3:45 PM Guest arrival window to the chapel. Please do not arrive any earlier than 3:30pm and understand if you are later than 3:45pm you may have to wait until the ceremony begins to take a seat.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Free parking is available at the chapel, but it is limited, we encourage friends and family to ride together if possible.

Is there a handicap access?

Answer

Yes, there is accessible access from the parking lot into the chapel for guests with mobility needs. However, the very front area by the altar/cross is reached by steps and does not currently have a ramp. If you have specific questions about accessibility or need assistance, please let us know and we’ll help with logistics.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Following the ceremony, guests will depart Pretty Place Chapel and make their way to the reception venue for cocktail hour. Directions and timing will be provided.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

The hotel block for guests is where our reception will be taking place at Skylaranna Resort and Spa. Please refer to the "travel" page for room block information and discount code. If you do not wish to stay there or if there are no longer rooms available, the reception venue is conveniently located in Hendersonville, where there are ample hotels, and charming air bnbs just minuets away from the resort.

Thank you in advance for sending your RSVP before August 1st 2026. You can simply RSVP right here on our wedding website.

Should I bring a gift to your destination wedding?

Answer

Since you’re traveling for our wedding, making the trip is a gift in itself — physical gifts are absolutely not necessary! If you do choose to browse our wedding registry, however, any items on the list can be shipped directly to our home address.

Will transportation be provided between the to and from the, ceremony and reception?

Answer

We will not have transportation available.

Do you have any recommendations for where to eat, points of interest or things to do?

Answer

Yes! We recommend visiting the ‘Things to Do’ page of our wedding website, where we’ve compiled a list of local hot spots and fun things to do in the area, including coffee shops, breweries, hikes and restaurants to visit before or after the wedding.
