We said yes! All that's left is "I do".

In early September of 2017, they both decided to swipe right on Tinder. Tia had just started her Sophomore Year at Penn State, while Brandon had just gotten home after being discharged from the Army. There is some debate as to who reached out first (even though Tia believes Brandon did), but they texted back and forth for a few days, and on September 13th, 2017, they spoke on the phone for the first time. When Brandon called, Tia asked about 15 times how old he was, due to how deep his voice was. She could not believe he was only 21...because he sounded 45! She was sure she was getting catfished, but hey the conversation was good! They talked all day, and during that conversation found out they lived across the street from one another. Naturally, knowing the convenience of only having to walk a few steps to see each other, they decided on September 13th to meet each other in person for the first time. Tia was working at the Willow Grove Old Navy at the time, and Brandon offered to meet her there and walk her home after her shift. He has always been such the gentleman. When Tia got off of work at 10pm and walked outside, he was nowhere to be found! She called him as she started to walk, and Brandon told her that her work did not exist and he couldn't find it. He explained that he walked the entire mall, and once he couldn't find it decided to head home. At this point, both of them believed that this could potentially, and more than likely, be a catfish situation but both decided to push along, and they agreed to meet at the Giant Supermarket that was connected to Tia's apartment building. At 10:15 that night, they met each other and hugged for the first time, not knowing how their lives were going to change. They spent the night together watching Family Guy while getting to know each other over a dinner of Mac & Cheese and various snacks, and since that night have been inseparable. On September 26th, 2017, Brandon & Tia made it official, and decided to become exclusive after a couple weeks of talking, and coming off a weekend full of meeting Brandon's family & attending an Enrique Iglesias & Pitbull concert in Philadelphia that Brandon had been given tickets for. Almost 7 years later, and they have been through it all together! A few months long distance, multiple moves, college graduation, supporting each other through loss, traveling, and living together! Brandon & Tia are excited for this next chapter of life, and to finally be known as Mr. & Mrs. Richardson!
