FAQs

Dear family and friends, We hope that you and yours are healthy and safe during this time, and we appreciate all of the love and support we've received from each of you. Although the COVID-19 crisis has created much uncertainty, as of now we will be proceeding with our wedding on May 22, 2021. We understand that the situation is in constant flux, but based on the current CDC guidelines and the recommendations of our state, we feel that by this coming spring, it will be safe to gather and celebrate. We will keep you informed if that should change, however, so please continue to check out our website for updates. To our out-of-state guests, we understand it may be difficult or even impossible to travel. Still, we hope you will be able to join us virtually on Zoom. Please feel free to reach out to us directly with any questions or concerns. Thank you for your patience and understanding, and we cannot wait to be together with you in person again come spring! Love, Nia & Dwayne
Question

Is this a kid-friendly celebration?

Answer

Although we would love to celebrate with your entire family, we find that we must limit attendance to adults only. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation!

Question

What time should we arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:30. We kindly ask our guests to arrive 20-30 minutes early.

Question

How many guests will you be expecting?

Answer

We are expecting 125 guests. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 we had to cut our list much shorter than expected. Our ceremony will be streamed on this site for those who could not be in attendance.

Question

How will you attempt to rule out COVID-19 at your wedding?

Answer

There will be security at the entrance to check all guests temperatures prior to entering the venue. Although it is not a requirement, we encourage our guests to get tested no more than 72 hours before the date. Rapid testing is available in many locations where you will receive your results in as little as 10 minutes. If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, please stay at home.

Question

Are guests required to wear a mask?

Answer

At this time, we are requiring all guests to wear a mask when not seated, eating, or drinking. Our venue is large enough to promote social distancing, however, we’d rather be safe than sorry! Masks will also be provided to those who may not have one.

Question

Am I able to bring a date or plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have a very strict headcount that we have to stick with due to Covid-19 and cannot accommodate any additional guests.
