We met at Selena's work at Keffer Hyundai. She was a service advisor and Rick was buying a brand new 2022 Genesis G70. He was being very particular about a trim piece that was slightly warped and the tinting. His sales person asked Selena for her number for his client in which she responded she does not give clients her personal number but since he was cute she would give him her Instagram. Right away Rick messaged her and then he did not respond for about a week. Selena got upset that he did not message right away and finally about a week later he responded and we went on our first date at Idlewild Cocktail bar in NoDa Charlotte on Sept. 15th, 2021.

We always love to go on adventures, hence the cruise wedding. It was our first time snowboarding. We had spent the day falling on our butts all day. We decided to go on our last ride together and got on the ski lift. While on the lift he asked me if I would go on adventures with him for the rest of our lives and pulled out a beautiful aqua marine engagement ring. Of course I said yes! I was so excited it was time to get off the lift and I fell off and had to duck before the chair ran me over or hit me in the head. My loving fiancé came to get me up and then proposed again on one knee! We're so excited to celebrate this next adventure in our lives with you. See you in San Juan!
