With God's grace, we are getting married!

Andrew had been attending the Young Adults group for a few months when a mysterious and bubbly newcomer joined and quickly became a beloved member. Andrew's interest quickly became apparent to seemingly everyone except Dominique, so subtle hints became not so subtle, even bringing her her own vegan charcuterie board for lunch, a totally friend-level gesture as far as she was concerned. During their first retreat with the group, Dominique opened up to reveal a strong and deep love for the Lord, while Andrew focused on keeping people entertained, and still she would rather sit on the floor than an empty seat on the couch near him. Finally abandoning the indirect approach altogether, he put it all on the line over a Vietnamese New Year Festival, tiki bar, and arcade! The two had found a space for peace and excitement both in the face of long days of school and work, but more than that, over the years to pass, they found stability, encouragement, and endurance in times of hardship. This is the foundation of our love for one another, and our shared walk in faith and purpose.
