FAQs

The Wedding Website of Sage Mitchell and Richardo Bennett
Question

Do I need my passport?

Answer

YES! If you do not currently have a passport, we recommend applying for one as soon as possible. This process can take up to several months. If you already have one, DOUBLE CHECK that it is not expired and has 6 months of validity. Some countries require that your passport be valid at least six months beyond the dates of you trip. Some airlines will not allow you to board if this requirement is not met.

Question

When should I book my accommodations?

Answer

The sooner, the better! Booking early ensures you secure the room you want. The resort can also sell out and prices can fluctuate as time goes on. Remember if you book now, you won’t have to pay anything other than your deposit until 30 days prior to your arrival to the resort. You can also book on other sites like expedia, hotels.com, etc.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We are having an adults-only wedding, but you are more than welcome to include your little ones in the vacation! The resort is family-friendly, with a fantastic kids club and plenty of activities to keep them entertained. On the wedding day, the resort can arrange babysitting services for a fee, or you're welcome to arrange for childcare with another family member who's joining the trip but won't be attending the wedding festivities. The choice is entirely yours, and we want everyone to enjoy this special time with us!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unless specified on your invitation, unfortunately we cannot accommodate for a plus 1 for the welcome party or wedding. However, we see this as not just our wedding but also a vacation experience for you! You're more than welcome to bring a guest to enjoy the resort, join in on excursions and have a fantastic time. While they may not be able to attend the wedding itself, they're invited to join us for the after party and all other excursions and festivities.

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

We're so glad you asked! For our special day, the dress code is formal/black tie optional. Since we'll be celebrating in the beautiful Caribbean, we recommend opting for light, breathable fabric to keep cool and comfortable while still looking your best as the venue is outdoors. Please refrain from the colors in the white family, pink, sparkles and sequins. For a visual please visit the Attire section.

Question

Do I need to find transportation to the resort?

Answer

If you book your accommodations via our Travel Agent the transportation to and from the airport is included, but if you booked via other means then you will need to arrange your own transportation to and from the airport. If you need recommendations for transport companies, we are happy to suggest some options.

Question

Can we stay at other resorts or do we have to stay at the Hyatt?

Answer

You have the flexibility to stay wherever you wish. We suggest staying within 10 minutes of the wedding venue.
