Is there a dress code?

Answer

Take this as an opportunity to dress up with us! Attire is black-tie optional. Ladies can wear floor-length or tea-length formal dresses of any color besides white. (If you're asking yourself if the color is too close to white, it probably is.) Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a suit and tie or a tuxedo.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love kids, our wedding is adults only, particularly the reception. The only children we are able to accommodate during the ceremony are those in the wedding party and close family. We will have babysitters available on-site at the reception venue (please talk to Ashley & Jorge directly to arrange this ahead of time!)

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re only able to welcome guests named on your wedding invitation. If a plus one is included, you’ll have the opportunity to add their name when submitting your RSVP.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is paid street parking available on Lindell Blvd near College Church. We have reserved Laclede Garage (3642 Laclede Ave) located on Saint Louis University's campus. The arm to the garage will be up when you arrive. The garage is about a 5 minute walk to College Church. We recommend giving yourself ample time to find parking to arrive to the church as Mass will begin promptly at noon. The Chase Park Plaza Hotel has a parking garage with valet and self-parking available for a fee. Additionally, there is paid street parking in the Central West End.

What should I do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We understand that there is a nearly 3 hour gap between the wedding mass and the start of the cocktail hour. (The Catholic lull... we've all been there.) Please see the "Things To Do" tab to check out our favorite local spots for you to explore between events, or take some introvert time to rest before we dance the night away!
