We met at a birthday party. The next day a friend of ours told me that Richard wanted to get to know and wanted my number. So, I told my friend to give him my number.

It was Christmas evening of 2014, and we were putting Ryan's bike together. Richard handed me a bag that said "Happy Birthday". Earlier that day, he wanted to give it to me so I could open it but changed his mind and said he wanted to wait till my birthday, which is a week and a half away from Christmas. Anyway, he changed his mind again and said he couldn't wait. I opened the bag and there was a box. I took the box out, opened it and there was a smaller box. I opened the smaller box and there was the ring! He asked me would I marry him and of course I said yes!
