The love story all began on Sept 3, 2016 in Westlake Village, CA. Who would have ever thought, we would meet "our person" at none other than a Hall & Oates Concert! Richie was enjoying a normal excursion at Stonehous Winery and Wendy lived in Brentwood and came up with some girlfriends for a girls day out. Never seeing the other before, both locked eyes from afar but then quickly lost view through the thousands of people at the venue. As the night continued, we both individually were thinking we had to find each other again before the night ended. As it turns out, some of Wendy's friends and Richie's friends knew each other and within a short time Richie had found Wendy and sat at the table. Some flirtatious banter and laughs were exchanged over a wine and cheese plate and both were captivated immediately and hit it off. We both knew there was something special that could not end there. After Richie gave Wendy the gauntlet of "qualifying" questions, he asked for her number and the rest was history. The months continued with endless conversations, amazingly fun dates, endless laughs and the most amazing memories! It was all about the timing! On May 23rd, 2018 we departed for our exciting trip to Portugal and Spain. On the last leg of the trip in the beautiful city of San Sebastian Spain in the Basque Country, Richie proposed on June 8th, 2018. It was THE most beautiful, amazing, and out of this world proposal! That day touched both of our hearts forever! We are forever grateful and so blessed to have found each other. We truly have found the loves of our lives and our forever soulmates. We are super excited for our BIG day and would love nothing more than to share our day with friends and family back home via video.
