September of 2016, a conversation over Facebook sparked the beginning of a relationship that neither of us saw coming. A post made about none other than chicken nuggets was all the fuel we needed to get the flame to ignite the fire. 😂 We went away for a weekend together from 9/25-9/27 and from there on out we have been absolutely inseperable. (Hence our original wedding date!!!) We started dating and instantly took such a liking to so many things about each other. We loved each others families, and started partaking in many traditions on both sides, always doing our best to keep time spent equal to everyone. I started to love so many of Richie’s hobbies like RC cars, and fishing, neither of which I ended up being any good at; but as long as he was willing to let me put on a full blown concert in the car, all was right in the world. We learned things from each other like simple life skills, and how to have a discussion instead of an arguement. If one of us is lacking in something the other helps fill the gap. We went on vacations together like trips to Disney, Aruba, North Carolina, upstate NY, and even our last full Hammerton family reunion, all while making memories we will cherish for the rest of our lives. We’ve grown so much as people over the past four years spent together, and we absolutely cannot wait to continue to grow and for our family to grow. We are so incredibly grateful to all of our friends and family that have continued to support our love, and we appreciate endlessly everyone who has wished us well on the beginning to this next chapter in our lives. Now let’s get ready to celebrate!
