We met at Olympic Village! It's an apartment complex located in Bremerton. It had a small basketball court in it where we played pick up games. At first I thought Rich was annoying because of the way he played defense, but eventually my friend and I started daring each other to go ask him out and sure enough I (being super shy) found the courage to go ask him for his facebook :) and things just started to kick off from there!! I remember being super nervous first asking permission of Mark and Tammy to have dinner at their house to surprise Taylor on our first date, little did I know that, that very house and Tays amazing parents would be home not only for me to grow as an individual but most importantly a heavy support in our new family foundation. -Rich I remember answering the door and there he was standing there with a huge teddy bear!! Our very first Christmas together!! I had no idea he was coming over because we had just been talking/flirting through text!! He asked me out and BAM here we are 9 years later!! We have grown through it all, good and bad, hard and easy times!! Ever since then he has gotten me to do things out of my comfort zone and taught me that there is more to life than what I have known and seen at that time!! -Taylor
