Inside the Chicago Hard Rock Hotel – the bar scene was packed! Lola was there with her BFF, Megan, after grabbing celebratory dinner/drinks (Lola had just recently gotten a new job). Rich was there with one of his best friends, Will, as Rich had flown into town specifically to join in the St. Patty’s day weekend fun. FYI – Chicago does it BIG for St. Patty’s Day… the river is dyed green, there are countless bar crawls, and city doesn’t sleep. Eventually, Lola and Megan decide to move closer to the bar, as it is seemingly the only place with some breathing room within the party, and Rich heads that way to buy a drink. On his way to the bar, he sees Lola and decides that’s where he wants to stand to buy his drink. Now that he’s next to her, he decides to strike up a conversation – and offers to buy Lola a drink, to which she replies “No. I’m good.” Since you’re reading this on their wedding website, it’s safe to say the story doesn’t end there and has a confirmed 'happily ever after.'
