Lindsay had just graduated from college and was deciding between 3 different graduate programs for her Post-Bacclaureate Pre-Vet program. She decided to take the leap, and move to Boston to attend Tufts for the two-year program. Little did she know, a young bachelor named Richard had also made the same decision to move from New Hampshire to Boston around the same time, in search of career opportunities. They both joined a dating app called Hinge in an effort to meet new people and get to know a new city.

It all started after Richard "liked" Lindsay's prompt on the dating app Hinge. We went on our first date the weekend after Thanksgiving. Lindsay was with family in Connecticut and drove through 8 hours of traffic to get back to Boston to make it to the date. Lindsay was swept off her feet when Richard surprised her and thoughtfully brought play-dough to their first date. They had discussed how much she loved play-dough as a child. She made a play-dough pizza while waiting for the food to come out, and Richard framed it for her for their first anniversary. Lindsay still has it to this day. We did not expect to talk for hours or feel the chemistry we felt on that first date.
