What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Traffic can get heavy on Fridays heading toward Fillmore, so please plan to arrive by 4:00 PM. If you’re taking the shuttle from the Hyatt Regency Valencia, it will depart promptly at 3:15 PM. Lex’s dad, Mickey Maudlin, will be in the hotel lobby to help gather everyone and get things moving smoothly.

Ample street parking will be available on the main road along with side streets.

What should I wear?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable and feel like yourself. If that means jeans and sneakers, we’re all for it. If that means a ballgown and heels, amazing. Wear whatever makes you feel good so you can relax and enjoy the day with us.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be indoors. We’ll be hosting an outdoor cocktail hour, and blankets will be provided to keep everyone comfortable.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We’re keeping the celebration intimate. We’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation, which unfortunately means we can’t include additional plus-ones or children beyond those specifically invited.

Is everything in the same location?

Answer

Everything for the wedding will take place at the same venue. The only exception is the after-party — and we really hope you’ll join us. It will begin at 10:00 PM at the Hyatt Regency Valencia, in the bar just off the lobby.

Will there be a shuttle?

Answer

A shuttle will be provided for guests staying at the Hyatt Regency Valencia / those who wish to leave their car at the hotel. It will depart from the hotel at 3:15 PM to take everyone to Fillmore Chapel, and will pick guests up from the chapel at 9:30 PM to return to the Hyatt for the after-party.
