We met the modern way: Facebook Dating, aka the app we both swore we were “just trying out.” November 9, 2022, a simple “like” turned into deep convos, jokes flying back and forth, and that “wait a minute... this might be something” feeling. We had to make sure neither of us was a catfish, so we decided it was time to meet face-to-face. Just a week later, we had our very first date at The Melting Pot. Between dipping things in cheese and chocolate, we had real conversation, real laughs, and real chemistry. By the end of the night, our profiles were deleted. (Yes, really!) Fast forward a few years of love, laughter, road trips, inside jokes, binge-watching, and surviving each other’s quirks, meeting each other's friends and family, we knew we built something truly special. On April 5, 2024, after visiting the Myrtle Beach Safari (because nothing says romance like feeding Ligers and chilling with Chimpanzees), we got back to our hotel room and BOOM: I walk in and there he is, on one knee… with my kids recording. Of course, I said YES to Mr. Amazing — because how could I not?
