What about COVID-19?

Answer

We are keeping a very close eye on the situation, especially with the emergence of the Delta variant. We will adhere to CDC and local guidance, so please monitor this site, should anything change. At this time (7/31), Covid transmission in Marion County is considered “substantial,” but not “high”, and cases are not considered “surging.” You can find more information by using this link: https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#county-view We are taking precautions, such as doing the ceremony and dancing outside, and keeping the indoor dinner well-ventilated. For the comfort and safety of our guests, we prefer our guests be vaccinated. We ask that any unvaccinated guests either wear a mask or choose to only attend the outdoor ceremony, as the dinner will be seated indoors.

How is the venue taking precautions against COVID-19?

Mavris Guest Information: - All Special Events attendance recommendations will be in line with Marion Health Department, CDC and other local and state authorities -All Mavris Employees with be required to wear masks for the entire event, indoors and outdoors - Mavris Employees will be required to wear gloves, sanitize hands and change gloves often - Masks are recommended throughout the entire venue, both indoors and outdoors, unless you are dining/drinking for vaccinated guests and required for all unvaccinated guests - Capacity limits on elevators will be enforced - To reduce crowding, Mavris will maximize all indoor and outdoor space - Modified dinner service and food safety procedures have been put into place to ensure safe food & beverage practices - Signage will be displayed throughout the venue to encourage healthy practices, and staff will move about the facility to monitor conditions and assist customers.

When should I RSVP by?

We ask that our guests return their RSVPs by July 26th.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! You can find out registry on this site. We did combine our households in 2019 and found that we did not need to add much more to start our lives, so we are encouraging our guests to instead contribute to various honeymoon funds.

Are kids welcome?

While we'd love to have all the kids, space is unfortunately limited. We ask that only invited children over the age of 16 attend the festivities.

Can I bring a date?

Due to limited space, we ask that only invited guests attend the evening's events.

What is the parking situation?

Answer

There will be a complimentary valet at Mavris, so you don't have to worry about parking! But, if you do prefer to park on your own, Mavris' complimentary lot is located just north of the venue on the southeast corner of East Street and Washington Street.

Is transportation provided?

Answer

We will be providing transportation back to Hotel Broad Ripple from Mavris, so we suggest guests take a Lyft or Uber so you don't have to worry about driving.

What should I wear?

Answer

We're so ready to trade in our quarantine sweats for some nice clothes! The dress code is technically "cocktail attire," so we suggest cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and suits. Be sure to wear shoes suitable for dancing!
