The day was Wednesday, June 21, 2016, the Cavs Championship Parade. Keri was flying home from the Bahamas and was so upset that she had to miss the parade, as she is a huge Cavs fan. In true Keri fashion, she had to be a part of the party so she made her sister come out with her at night. Rich being a true Cavs fan who would never miss that first championship parade (even for the Bahamas lol) was already downtown enjoying the festivities. Rich and his best man approached Keri and her sister at Barley House. Rich tried to run some game and Keri said, "Show me the last five pictures in your phone!" Fortunately, he passed the test with shirtless JR Smith pictures. Over the next four years, Rich moved to Kentucky and Georgia. A relationship was not going to happen due to distance but something kept drawing them to each other. However, long distance helped them develop a strong, communicative relationship. At the beginning of COVID, Rich finally made the move back home to Cleveland. Less than a year later, the proposal happened. Keri and Rich are very much in love and can't wait to celebrate their upcoming nuptials with their family and friends.
