YES!!!! We understand that not everyone can easily travel long distances, which is why we are having celebrations near both of our homes! Please come join us in celebrating at either or both ceremonies! SÍ!!!! Entendemos que no todos pueden viajar largas distancias fácilmente, y por eso vamos a tener celebraciones cerca de nuestros dos hogares. ¡Acompáñanos a celebrar en una o ambas bodas!

Ecuador shuttle

For the Ecuador celebration, the Church and Reception are in different areas, so we will have a shuttle to make it easy to get from one to the other! Durante la celebración en el Ecuador, tendremos un bus que trasladará a quienes no tengan auto desde la iglesia hasta el lugar de la recepción.

U.S shuttle
Answer
For the US celebration we will have a shuttle to and from the event venue. There will be one shuttle from the hotel to the venue before the ceremony, and three runs of the shuttle from the venue to the hotel in the evening, which the DJ will announce. Para la celebración de EE.UU. tendremos transporte desde el lugar de la recepción hasta el hotel. Habrá un bus desde el hotel hasta el lugar de la recepción y tres buses en la noche de regreso al hotel. El DJ anunciará la salida de los buses en la noche.

It will be fall in Minnesota, so no one really knows exactly what the weather will do. Likely it will be temperate, and around 60-70F but it could be as high as 80 or as low as freezing. Check the weather before you come and be prepared. Quito in December is going to be beautiful. Quito has consistent temperatures around 60-70F, so pack some light sweaters and maybe a light rain jacket, and you'll be good to go. En Minnesota, estaremos en otoño, así que nadie sabe que clima vamos a tener. Típicamente en Octubre tendremos temperaturas alrededor de las 60-70 F (15-22 C), pero puede estar tan caliente como 80 F (26 C) o tan frío como debajo del zero (C). Así que chequea el clima antes de venir y para que estés preparado. En diciembre, el clima de Quito va a estar buenísimo. Quito tiene un clima consistente, alrededor de 55-70 F (13-21 C). If you are renting a car in Quito there are two things you might wanna keep in mind: 1) Manuals are common in Ecuador; if you prefer an automatic transmission, make sure you request it. 2) There is a policy called "Pico y Placa" in Quito in which cars are not allowed to be driven from 6-9:30 am and 4-8 pm on certain days. The day is based on the car's last plate number: Monday: 1-2 Tuesday: 3-4 Wednesday: 5-6 Thursday: 7-8 Friday:8-9

Toilet paper & Ecuador / Papel higiénico

In Ecuador, toilet paper does NOT go in the toilet! Our sewage system is not built for it. Every toilet has a trash can for tossing your toilet paper. En el Ecuador, el papel higiénico no se tira en el inodoro. Nuestro sistema de tuberías y alcantarillado no está diseñado para ello. Cada baño tiene un basurero para depositar el papel higiénico.
