Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Jordan Sang and Richard Scott
There's plenty of things to do on the Big Island of Hawaii and we definitely recommend you check out some of these amazing attractions.

Mauna Kea Observatory

Mauna Kea Access Road, Hilo, HI 96720

Stargazing at night is amazing, but equally impressive in the daytime.

Mahai'ula beach and Makalawena beach

Kalaoa, HI 96740

Amazing beaches-Mahai'ula beach often has resting endangered monk seals laying on the beach and Makalawena beach has the softest white sand beach on the island. Be prepared to walk to the beach over volcanic rock or bring a 4X4.

Hapuna Beach

HI 96743

Right outside of the Westin Hapuna is Hapuna beach, which is the Big Island's largest sandy beach, stretching nearly a half mile from north to south.

Kīlauea Volcano

See an active volcano! Lots of different hikes and stuff to see at Volcanoes National Park.

Two Step Snorkelling

Captain Cook, HI 96704

This is amazing spot for snorkelling that's easy access and free. Just remember to bring your own snorkelling gear or rent from the kayak people at Captain Cook.

Kiholo Bay

71-1890 Queen Ka'ahumanu Highway, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740
, (808) 961-9540

The lagoon at Kiholo bay is heavenly, keep an eye out for sea turtles, which frequent the area!

Waipio Valley Lookout

Kukuihaele, HI 96727

The view from the lookout is gorgeous! If you are adventurous you can walk down the valley (or bring a 4X4) and explore the rugged beaches filled with wild horses.

Manta Night Dive and Snorkel

Unforgettable experience swimming with the manta rays at night!

Kanaloa Octopus Farm

73-4460 Queen Ka'ahumanu Highway, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740
, (808) 747-6895

Hawaii Zipline Tours

28-1692 Old Mamalahoa Highway, Honomu, HI 96728
, (808) 963-6353

Zipline through the rainforest and over the 250ft Kolekole waterfall!

Kailua-Kona

Kailua-Kona, HI

Check out downtown Kailua-Kona for great eats, shopping and farmers markets

Hilo

Hilo, HI 96720

Drive across the island and explore Hilo! Hilo has tons of great shops, restaurants and farmers markets.

The Big Island of Hawaii has a number of breathtaking golf courses including the Hapuna Golf Course and Mauna Kea Golf Course.
