We met at a house party and became fast friends. We loved each others competitive spirt and the ease in which we laughed. We grew close over the next few years with many house parties, concerts, and beach trips bringing us together. We both had strong feelings for each other and finally decided to take the chance our friendship could be more and we have never looked back. Friends, partners, and soon to be married we cannot be more excited for our future.

We have always loved being near water. It doesn’t matter if it is our favorite kayak spot, the beach or a waterfall we have some of our best conversations by water. Inevitably we talk about our future together and what we want it to look like. So it is fitting that Richard found the most beautiful waterfall we have ever seen to propose. It was a short but very challenging hike without a real trail, just a rope going down a mountain side. Our heartbeats were fast from the climb but grew even faster during the proposal. Our tears mixed with the mist of the falls and we have never been happier knowing that as best friends we would spend forever together. The moment and place could not have been perfect.
