Both the wedding and the reception will be at the First Congregational Church, which is at 5 Real Road.
The ceremony will start at 3 pm. We will have snacks and drinks in the courtyard immediately after the ceremony, followed by a dinner reception in the fellowship hall.
In order for us to get the right amount of food from the caterer, please RSVP by October 25.
You can RSVP on the wedding website. The link is on the back of your invitation, or you can use this link: https://www.zola.com/wedding/richardandelizabethnovember15/rsvp
You can text, email, or call us, send us a card, talk to one of our parents… whatever works! Just let us know how many people are coming, whether anyone needs a vegetarian meal or a kids meal, and if there are any other dietary restrictions we should know about.

Please dress up for a fun evening with us! We recommend semi-formal attire. The wedding and the reception dinner will both be indoors, but we will have some snacks and drinks available in the outdoor courtyard immediately after the ceremony.
November temperatures in Bakersfield can be a little hard to predict, so wearing layers is generally a good idea. The average temperatures would be in the high 60s or low 70s during the day and usually drop into the 40s or 50s overnight.
There is plenty of parking at the church. There are lots on both the north and east sides of the building.
There will be snacks in the courtyard immediately after the ceremony. Then we’ll have dinner (chicken, potatoes, veggies, and salad) with vegetarian options and kids meals available. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions when you RSVP.
We’ll have a professional photographer at the ceremony and reception taking photos and we’ll share them afterwards on this website. If you want to take a few photos during the ceremony, please make sure the flash is off and be mindful not to block the view for anyone behind you.
Sure! Feel free to tag us or send them to us as well.
