The venue has closed until May. We plan on a celebration of our marriage in June or July once Casa Garden reopens we will book. We will update the site with the date in May. Check back Mid May.

We were Matched so well that we hit it off immediately. First meeting was breakfast on a Friday late morning (because Richard likes to sleep in) on a beautiful June day. Before leaving Richard set up the next date, where we went to Coloma. We will never forget how hot it was that day that we ended up in Placerville where the annual brewfest was happening on Main Street. From there we were on the phone daily and met up regularly. We have laughed, had family dinners, sniggle wiggles (inside family thing), fishing and really have enjoyed getting to know each other and each others family. We are excited to join our families together. We could not be more excited to celebrate the next step in our journey with each of you, who have played (and will continue to play) such an important part in our adventure!

He had told me - "dress up on Wednesday, I'm going to take you to a nice dinner out." Prior to picking me up, Richard dropped a bottle of Sparking Wine off at the restaurant. He was super happy excited when he arrived at my apartment. He took me to Rio City Cafe in Old Downtown Sac, now a favorite spot of ours. Within 1 minute of sitting down he pulled out a folded up paper, opened it and began reading to me (I still have that paper). In big red letters half way down he had "Pull out ring" - he pulled it out and I said "YES". Next he was James Bond looking over his shoulder at the bartender and motioned - the Sparkling Wine was brought over and we had our first of many toasts together. We are excited to start the rest of our lives together.
