We worked at the same company for a good decade, but it took years for us to finally meet in person. Before that though, Brittney would send out requests for odometer readings, and Richard was always on that list. We met through email, we had seen each other's names, but it wasn't until 2016 that Brittney went out to New Mexico to chart a new path and our lives finally converged. Richard insists that Brittney set up an elaborate plan to get us alone together. Brittney maintains that it was all an accident, or mischievous planning on our friends' parts. No matter what, our story was always meant to end this way: with us finding each other, sharing our lives together, and promising in front of our friends and family to love one another forever.
