Flight

Travel Information

There are multiple options of airlines which fly to Romania, unfortunately, from the Netherlands, there are none that have a direct flight to Oradea. But no worries, they are flying to the cities nearby Oradea! When flying from Canada there might be more options for flight to Oradea. These are some examples of airlines who fly to Romania from The Netherlands: WizzAir: Eindhoven - Cluj-Napoca, which flies every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. WizzAir also flies from Brussels to Cluj-Napoca every day of the week. Ryanair: Brussels - Cluj-Napoca, which flies from Tuesday to Friday and Sunday Another option is flying to Budapest, Hungary, which can be done with multiple airlines as Wizzair and KLM. If you're flying into Romania from Canada, you can look at applications as Google Flights and Skyscanner for cheap flights. If you decide to fly to Cluj, there are three ways you can get to Oradea from Cluj Airport. 1. Rent a car and drive yourself to Oradea. 2. By train, this trip will take 4 hours and 20 minutes. First, you will have to take a bus to the city center of Cluj, and from there you can take the main train to Oradea. Train tickets are advised to be bought in advance. 3. By taking a shuttle bus from Cluj Airport to Oradea. There are daily buses that make this trip, which takes 2 hours and 20 minutes approximately, and cost around 20 euros. By clicking on 'view', you will get to the shuttle bus website.

Travel Note

Getting by in Oradea

In Oradea, there are multiple ways to travel around the city from destination to destination. 1. Public transportation: If your hotel or Airbnb is located in the city center of Oradea, you can travel to many destinations on foot. If the destinations are further apart, you can travel by tram or by taxi. Traveling by public transportation, such as trams and buses isn't expensive and very easy to do. 2. Car rental: If you don't want to or you don't like traveling by public transportation, you can choose to rent a car. On Google, you can find multiple places where you can rent a car for different price ranges. If something goes wrong during your travel or if you have questions about the options talked about on this page, don't hesitate to contact us. We can help you out with travel options, if you have questions about that!

House Or Rental

Where to Stay?

In Oradea, you can choose to stay in hotels or private apartments, or houses that you can book on Airbnb or Booking.com. Ideally, it is recommended to choose your stay in the city center of Oradea, this is because that's where all the activities are that you can do during your stay. Hotel and apartment prices differ from 40 to 150 euros a night, with an average of 60 euros a night. (If you know other people who are coming to the wedding, you can (if you want) ask them if you can share an apartment so you can divide the price.)
