As graduates of UW-Madison, we can both agree that this is a great place to sit and view the lake. Plus, it costs zero dollars. You can also enjoy some ice cream, brats and beer. Our family likes to ride our bikes to the same lake.

Memorial Union Terrace

The zoo is FREE & open daily! It's a fun time with the family. We went there most recently to view the Christmas lights!

On March 23, 2019, we went here for our FIRST date. Needless to say, it went well :) As a family, we LOVE to play games. We visit the Geeks Mania arcade a couple times a year to play some fun retro games. It's $15 for an all day pass.

Putt Putt golf is always fun for couples & families! There's an indoor & outdoor course. We went here for our third or fourth date. We are both "The Office" fans and Richard showed up with matching "The Office" hats to wear on the date.
