Cancun International Airport (CUN)

Guests must fly into Cancun in order to get to Isla Mujeres. The ferry from Cancun to Isla Mujeres does not run 24 hours per day so please do not book a flight that lands to the Cancun airport after 8:45 PM and do not book a flight that departs the Cancun airport before 9:30 AM.

CARM SHUTTLE / FERRY INFORMATION

CARM shuttle will be our preferred airport shuttle company. They will take you from Cancun Airport to Port Puerto Juarez where you will catch the ferry to Isla Mujeres. Please see link below to book for our wedding. Directions from the Airport: Once you have received your bags from baggage claim exit the airport and don't engage with any of the vendors. You will cross the street once you have exited where CARM will be waiting holding a sign with your name. Booking: When booking with CARM they will provide a roundtrip airport shuttle and 2 ferry tickets. You'll receive both ferry tickets upon arrival. The tickets are one way to Isla Mujeres and back to Cancun. The drive from the airport to the ferry dock will take 15-20 minutes. Travel Tips

1) Make sure you have your passport ready to go! 2) Bring cash. Please note all places will take U.S. dollar, but not all will take credit cards. Exchange rate is approximately $19 pesos to $1 US dollar. 3) Once you arrive to Isla Mujeres from the ferry exit the port and make a left onto the street. The taxi line will be 50 feet to your left. It will cost approximately $5-$7 U.S dollar to your hotel. Make sure you tell the taxi driver that your hotel is in Playa Norte, there are a few hotels with the same names on the South side of the island. 4) Do not rent a golf cart near the ferry station, they will be overpriced. There are a bunch of places to rent golf carts near the hotels for approximately $60 - $80 per day. You can rent them for a few hours, overnight, or for multiple days. Some of the golf cart rentals are cash only. Some golf cart companies allow you to book in advance if you prefer.
