This love story began in a yoga class during the pandemic. Richard walked into Brandi’s class wearing a mask over his beard, gym shorts, and camo crocs. Brandi wasn’t too sure about the camo crocs and couldn’t tell what was behind the mask, but appreciated a man practicing yoga. Yoga turned into “beer nights” where a friendship began. From friendship came feelings, but unfortunately poor timing because Brandi was set to move across the country. After Brandi moved away, the two went separate ways, but neither could get each other off their minds. Brandi reached back out, only to find out that Richard was living a real life country song. He said he had lost his woman and his dog in the same week as Dozer had gone missing while on a hike. Dozer was found a few days later, and Brandi and Richard decided to make things work despite the distance. And now, on this special day, the whole family, including Dolly of course, will be united together forever.
