Sarah and I met through Match. It was a late night and I was headed to the gym. I decided to re open my Match account prior to going into my gym. My account had only been active for a short while when I got a message from Sarah. I decided to reply as her pumpkin patch photo caught my eye. We instantly hit it off with our conversations. After a week of talking we decided it was time to meet in person. Here is where the tricky part came in. With my job at the time I had crazy hours and traveled a lot. Sarah and I were also both going on vacation shortly. Sarah to Niagara Falls and I to the Hamptons. We both compared our schedules and decided that our only hope was going to be a Wednesday night around 10 in Philly. I had to work late that night so I drove all the way from Princeton, NJ to meet her. I choose the Royal Boucherie for our first date. I’ll never forget the way she looked when she walked in. I know most would say this but I had a feeling just then that she would be my future wife. Needless to say we sat ordered drinks and talked and talked. Before we knew it, it was 2:30AM and the restaurant was supposed to already have been closed. We headed out and it was pouring. Sarah was parked nearby and I several blocks away. She offered to drive me to my car. I remember feeling so good about the night and how much I already liked Sarah. From there we went our separate ways but continued to talk through our vacations planning our second date.
