FAQs

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Dressy casual. Feel comfortable but look your best. We're getting married on a farm! Men, feel free to wear jeans or slacks with a button down. Ladies, feel free to wear your best summer dress. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors where the ground is mostly grass so reconsider wearing stilettos.

Question

Is there transportation?

Answer

Yes! Check out our travel & transportation page for all the information.

Question

Is there valet?

Answer

Yes! Durham Hill Farm has valet service if you would prefer to drive.

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

We have a limited amount of space at our venue. There will be a few children, but we ask that you not bring your kids unless they were included on the invite. The kids that are coming are those of friends and family traveling very far to come celebrate with us, and the groom's God Daughter.

Question

What time does the wedding start?

Answer

Please view our day of schedule page for all information on start and end times!

Question

How far is the hotel from the venue?

Answer

About a 20 minute drive. Please see our Travel page for shuttle information.

Question

If we stay for a few days in the area is there anything to do?

Answer

Bucks County, PA is a beautiful area with lots of attractions for all ages. We recommend checking out New Hope/Lambertville, Newtown, Peddler's Village, and Doylestown. There are bars, restaurants, shops, and attractions throughout. It's also a beautiful place to drive around and see the farms and old stone buildings. New Hope has beautiful trails, views, and some great beer.

Question

Is There An Open Bar?

Answer

Hell Yes! We'll have a selection of signature drinks, as well as wine, beer, and some selections from our favorite local breweries. Put your drinking caps on!

Question

Can We Smoke at the Venue?

Answer

There is a designated area for smoking cigarettes outside of the barn.

Question

Will There Be Dogs?

Answer

Yes, our dogs will be a part of the ceremony, but won't be staying for the festivities afterwards. They are both very friendly animals (sometimes a bit noisy), but we understand some folks just aren't dog people. We recommend you sit away from the center aisle if you'd prefer to keep your distance.

Question

Will there be horses?

Answer

Yes, Durham Hill Farms have some equine residents. You can observe them from the fence line, but we aren't allowed into their living area.
