Heavenly Ski Resort
Beautiful Heavenly Mountain and Ski Resort is less than 20 minutes from The Ridge resort! They have a scenic gondola all year-round, a mountain roller coaster with beautiful views of the lake, zip lining, ropes course, and plenty of other fun summer activities to check out! There's also several stores and shops in the Heavenly Village at the bottom of the mountain! Definitely a must-see for our out-of-town guests!
Base Camp Pizza Co.
This was where we went on one of our first dates and it's still our absolute favorite pizza place! Great pizza, a full bar, fun atmosphere, and the resort shuttle takes you right to the Heavenly Village shopping area where this is located! We highly recommend you check it out!
Chart House Restaurant
We haven't actually made it here to eat yet, but this is a popular recommendation from both Reno locals and Lake Tahoe visitors and it's on our own to-do list! We've heard several reports of delicious food with stunning views of Lake Tahoe! It's very close to the resort as well! But just a heads up, you'll probably need reservations!
The Hangar - Taproom and Bottle Shop
We love this place! Whether it's sitting next to each other reading, playing games together, getting away from the busyness, having some quality time, or connecting over a deep conversation, you can do it all here! It's a super fun, laidback, chill atmosphere, with over 30 beers on tap, fun games to play, chairs, fire pits, and a great place to relax and enjoy with friends and family! We've loved our dates here and we hope you enjoy it too!
